Isolation and characterization of new psychrophilic bacteria; Cloning and characterization of industrial relevant pullulanase and serine protease W. Vogel & M. Büttner GmbH dass man im angebrochenen JahrtausendIn the present study, two psychrophilic bacteria were isolated and characterized from sea water sample collected from Spitzbergen in the Arctic. The psychrophilic strictly anaerobic Ilyobacter psychrophilus sp. nov. and the psychrophilic aerobic bacterium Shewanella arctica sp. nov.. Two industrial relevant enzymes were cloned and characterized from the new isolated bacterium Shewanella arctica sp. nov.. A type I pullulanase and a subtilisin like
