Germany, Luftwaffe. A Fallschirmjäger Badge, by Steinhauer & Lück, Wartime-Compatible Example in Cupal United Republic of 3rd (Auckland) Regiment Cap Badge(Fallschirmschtzenabzeichen). Constructed of cupal, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in position, with a barrel hinge and non magnetic vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch emanating from an oblong plate, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of a A Type
