Solinst 601 PVC Standpipe Piezometer Length:6 inch SET 1 (2FA311): meter inThe Solinst 601 PVC Standpipe Piezometer is a perforated rigid PVC tip fitted with a porous HDPE filter sleeve that keeps out silts and fine sands while letting groundwater enter. It is placed or lowered into a pre drilled borehole (or pushed into loose sand or tailings) and connected to the surface by joining lengths of 3 4" Schedule 40 PVC riser pipe with slip couplings. Backfill is placed around the perforated tip and the top closed with a slip
